Review on Restaurant Just'in
The Just'in restaurant is located in Le Meridien Monparnasse hotel in the heart of the 14th arrondissement of Paris. The contemporary dining room is striking with colours of red and cream and has a calm and relaxed air and features many exhibits from local Parisian artists and sculptors. Jean Luc Reymond has been head chef here since 2005 and is responsible for the cuisine of the entire hotel.
The kitchen delivers a sumptuous buffet for both lunch and dinner and this is followed by a wonderful selection of fine cheeses and irresistible desserts created by pastry chef Gérard Biscaut. The dishes are all artfully displayed and are a culinary vision to the senses and could include Mieral pigeon served with foie gras, grilled langoustines or tuna sashimi, fennel smoked sardines, zucchini and eggplant ravioli. Fish might appear as in fillet of John Dory wrapped in bacon with artichokes and shellfish sauce or blue lobster served in its shell, aromatic olive oil and polenta. As a finale indulge in poached white peaches with almonds, caramelized chiboust, almond cake and toffee ice-cream or coffee and chocolate tart, candy floss and Armagnac flavoured ice-cream.
On Sundays the restaurant offers Baby Brunch for young children and it features a different unique theme each week.
