Review on Le Quinzième
Le Quinzième is critically acclaimed TV chef Cyril Lignac's restaurant, opened in 2005 it is located alongside the 35 acre Parc André Citroën, which was built on a former Citroën car manufacturing plant. Awarded a Michelin star in the 2012 Guide, the restaurant has an elegant décor with a warm backdrop of amber, copper, brown and caramel shades. Diners can enjoy the theatre of the kitchen, with views through the large bay window separating the kitchen from the dining room, and during summer months dine al fresco on the leafy terrace.
Cyril Lignac earned his culinary stripes in a number of illustrious kitchens such as Alain Passard's L'Arpège, as well as Jacques and Laurent Pourcel's, La Maison Blanche and Le Jardin des Sens. Guests can enjoy a starter of potato-filled gnocchi with fruity Comté cheese from Fort Saint Antoine, cream of black truffle, before a main course of rod and line sea bass, slowly oven baked with fine puree of large white beans, sage and coffee. To finish choose Lignac's delicious signature dish of Madagascar, light chocolate cream with Tanariva milk, crisp praline flake and lime ice cream.
