Review on Chaumette
A slice of gastronomic history, the Chaumette restaurant which takes its name from the original owner Mrs Chaumette, is in the heart of Paris, a short distance from the Eiffel Tower. This charming restaurant has dark woodwork, crisp white tablecloths with candles and photos of old bistros together with modern art and antique mirrors adorning the walls. It is a popular neighbourhood and tourist destination because it is the perfect example of a 1920 bistro featuring a lot of the original décor of that era.
Using only the freshest of ingredients to create high quality traditional French cuisine such as a French hotpot, Tournedos Rossini or wild boar. There is an array of tempting desserts including chocolate soufflé and crêpes suzette and a well chosen selection of French wines.
