Review on Fakhr El Dine
Fakhr El Dine is a long serving Lebanese restaurant situated in a pleasant spot near the Trocadero in the 16th arrondissement district of Paris. It has gained an excellent reputation of serving the highest standards in Lebanese gastronomy as reflected by its many accolades and awards won over the past 30 years.
Attentive service is the order of the day in an elegant and welcoming dining room with beautiful paintings on white walls and discreet lighting throughout. Lebanese cuisine is influenced by Mediterranean and Arabic culinary traditions and is a mixture of marinated minced and roasted beef and lamb. Among the tasty starters you might have is Kebbe which is stuffed meatballs with pine nuts and a speciality of the kitchen is the Kafta Grille, tender morsels of beef with onions and spices cooked over charcoal to enhance the aroma. To finish, look out for the old Lebanese favourite Baklawa, a Mediterranean pastry soaked in syrup and sprinkled with nuts.
