Review on La Table du Baltimore
La Table du Baltimore is the Michelin starred restaurant of Hotel Baltimore part of the MGallery collection of hotels. It is located in a beautiful area of Paris, near the Champs-Élysées, the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower. This typical Haussmann-era building was built in 1892 and takes it's name from their first guest, Lord Baltimore. The luxurious dining room is an elegant affair with period wood panelling, modern furnishings and artwork adorning the walls.
Heading the kitchen is chef Jean-Philippe Perol who offers a contemporary French menu based on tip-top seasonal ingredients. Open the show with a crab tartare, roquette salad and iced gazpacho, before mains of roast saddle of lamb covered with walnuts and chives and leeks braised in gravy or lobster risotto with herbs and mustard bisque. To finish there are beautifully displayed desserts such as pineapple marmalade with vanilla, coconut panna cotta and pineapple sherbert. Renowned sommelier Jean-Luc Jamrozik will guide you through the well thought out wine list.
