Review on La Terrasse Mirabeau
La Terrasse Mirabeau, is an elegant and contemporary restaurant in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, a short distance from the famous Pont Mirabeau and it's done up in a mixture of cream, red and beige with matching abstract artwork on the walls
Chef and proprietor is top French chef, Pierre Négrevergne who learnt his trade under two star Michelin chef Michel Rostang. While the service is impeccable and the restaurant opens onto a lovely terrace with potted shrubs, white parasols and pretty white street lamps, it's Négrevergne's reinvented classical cuisine that takes centre stage and attracts diners from all over Paris.
Patés feature among the restaurant's signature dishes, as in pâté en croute, chicken liver pâté, pressed oxtail and foie gras, rabbit in jelly along with pig's trotters, or monkfish cheeks with caramelised endives. To finish look out for the famous blueberry pie with cream cheese sorbet. The wine list is an impressive tome fronted by high-class names from the French regions.
