Review on Hotel Raphael
Hotel Raphael is one of Paris' top hotels, a short stroll from the Champs Elysées. At the heart of the hotel is their showpiece restaurant with its opulent dining room featuring Louis XVI style furniture, chandeliers and tables draped in crisp white linen and polished silverware.
The kitchen offers an inventive menu with starters of salmon tartare with dill and ginger or duck foie gras before mains of twelve hours slow cooked shoulder of lamb or John Dory served with watercress, sweet peppers and oriental mousse. Desserts tempt with pineapple square and green tea ice cream or sautéed Autumn fruits with gingerbread ice cream.
During the summer months Les Jardins Plein Ciel restaurant on the 7th floor offers panoramic views over the city including the Eiffel Tower.
