Review on Frédéric Simonin
Frédéric Simonin's self-named restaurant occupies a corner site on rue Bayen in the fashionable 17th district of Paris, a short walk from the Arc de Triomphe. The chic interior has a striking black and white Art Deco inspired design, with tables smartly laid with crisp linen.
As well as working in some of the world's most prestigious kitchens such as Ledoyen and Taillevent, Simonin made his name at L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon in London, before deciding to go it alone. With an emphasis on first-class seasonal ingredients, his inspirational modern French dishes with the occasional Asian influence have been awarded a Michelin star.
