Review on Loiseau Rive Gauche
Loiseau Rive Gauche, formally the Tante Marguerite is located not far from the National Assembly. This elegant restaurant with its smart wood panelling, Louis XV chairs and well laid tables decorated with floral displays, attracts a high profile clientele.
The traditional cuisine is faithful to the culinary philosophy of Loiseau and the kitchen produces fine Burgundy dishes, reinterpreted for a lighter, more contemporary dining experience, with a focus on flavour. Some of the classic dishes appearing on the menu are the ragout of escargots Tante Marguerite and the roasted pike perch in red wine. There is an excellent wine list with several offerings by the glass.
