Review on Fouquet's
Located on the beautiful Champs Elysées in Paris, Fouquet's restaurant has been serving the rich and famous since it opened its doors in 1899. A designated Historical Monument, it is now owned by the French luxury hotel group Lucien Barrière and has recently been restored by famous French interior designer Jacques Garcia. There is an elegant formal dining room on the second floor, a grillroom featuring leather sofas and rattan furniture and the terrace with pots of flowers at the front of the restaurant where you can dine al fresco.
Jean-Yves Leuranguer is the chef responsible for updating Fouquet's classic French menu and the restaurant offers a selection of dining options from brasserie fare to a healthy eating option or even an Italian menu featuring risottos and pasta. There is an excellent wine list composed of some 350 references from French regions.
