Review on Le Marcande
Le Marcande is located at a discreet address behind the Boulevard Haussmann, enter the wrought iron doors and you will find yourself in an elegant environment. The Maître d'Hotel will greet you and escort you to your table, set in classic style with the restaurant's exclusive crockery. There are two contemporary designed dining rooms with finely carved lamps and sumptuous fabrics. These rooms encircle a lovely patio, with pretty flowers, climbing ivy and bamboos surrounding a delightful Roman fountain that makes for an enchanting dining experience in the summer months.
The kitchen follows the seasons to produce an original and inventive menu that changes frequently. To start you might go for a lobster salad or a vegetable ravioli, before a roasted saddle of lamb or baked chicken with duck foie gras. To finish try a marmalade millefeuille of gingerbread with orange marmalade or
crème brûlée. The all French wine list makes for enticing reading and Emmanuel Cazaux, the wine sommelier is on hand to help you choose the best wine to compliment your meal.
