Review on Les Diables au Thym
Les Diables au Thym in the Lafayette district is just a short walk from from the famous Les Folies Bergère. With its burgundy curtain at the entrance this is a modern bistro with a warm cosy atmosphere. Head chef is Eric Lassauce, who trained at the renowned Senderens, and he has created a modern French menu that follows the seasons.
Look out for a terrine of duck foie gras with walnuts to start, followed by roast saddle of lamb with aubergine and pan-sautéed fresh figs or turbot steak with artichoke and lemon preserve. Among desserts there could be the ever popular créme brûlée or take a look at the very nice selection of cheeses. A good value wine list includes some organic wines with many available by the glass.
