Review on Cafe Atlantico / America Eats Tavern

Cafe Atl?ntico has been a DC-area favorite for more than 20 years, but will close temporarily starting June 13th to make way for a groundbreaking partnership between Jose Andres ThinkFoodGroup and The Foundation for the National Archives. America Eats Tavern opens July 4th, featuring Chef Jose Andres' unique take on traditional American classics and celebrating native ingredients and some long forgotten dishes. The menu will showcase the fascinating history of our nation one plate at a time. A casual tavern menu will be offered on the ground floor, while a more refined and elegant menu will be featured on the second and third floors. This 6-month, non-profit partnership will extend the exhibit "What's Cooking Uncle Sam: The Government's effect on the American diet" that opens at the National Archives June 10th. For more information on this exciting partnership, visit cafeatlantico.com. Make your reservations now for this unique and exciting restaurant. Available starting July 5th.
