Review on Kerachers Restaurant
Since opening in May 1999, Kerachers Restaurant has developed a reputation as one of Perth's leading restaurants. With a menu celebrating the best of modern Scottish seafood and beef, owners Pamela and Peter Keracher have created a culinary gem in the heart of Perthshire.
The menu predominantly consists of seafood, all of which is locally sourced. A typical meal might start of with exquisite hand dived Skye scallops set on Stornoway black pudding, followed by Crail lobster with a cream saffron saucer and new season baby potatoes, and finished with a selection of local cheeses and Scottish oatcakes. For fans of Scottish beef, there is also the option of fillet of Aberdeen Angus set on chanterelle mushrooms and served with mustard mash.
This concise, yet beautifully formed, menu is rounded of with an extensive wine list with detailed tasting notes.
