Review on The Dolphin House Brazzerie
The Dolphin House Brazzerie opened its doors in 2011 set in a listed former warehouse in the historic waterside setting of Plymouth's Barbican, with picturesque views overlooking Sutton Harbour Marina. The restaurant has been kitted out in an understated contemporary style, with smartly laid tables set against beige and blue striped banquette seating and interesting artwork adorning the walls.
The kitchen is keen to focus on high quality ingredients and seasonality for its ethically sourced menu. Fish is caught on the day boats and they have built up an excellent relationship with local farmers who supply their meat. The menu reflects modern British cuisine with international influences, dishes are cooked to order, including their delicious rustic bread and house-smoked fish. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as providing a bespoke hospitality and catering service for special occasions or corporate events.
