An old stager in Port de Pollenca, the ever popular Los Faroles has undergone a recent makeover giving the new look interior a cool chic appearance and even the famous fish trolley has been given a new set of wheels. In warm weather try and get a table outside and watch the world go by.

There's something on the menu to suit everyone, but once they get to know your likes, the menu becomes redundant and you'll see your favourite dishes just appear alongside your favourite wine. Choose a fish from the trolley, the local John Dory is to die for. Fried or grilled, insist on the famous Los Faroles fried onions to go with it but be warned, as you'll see in the photo, they are irresistible to whoever is sitting next to you! A nicely chilled bottle of Macia Batle blanc de blanc from Binissalem should round things off to perfection.
