A completely renovated and updated 18th Century home, The Rail House 1449 is conveniently located in Rahway's Arts District, across the street from the rail station and new public parking garage. We are on the same street as the newly renovated Union County Performing Arts Center. The restaurant features 2 floors of dining that seats up to 50 people in eclectic surroundings. The newly remodeled wine cellar also accommodates up to 10 people in uniquely private setting. Also an outstanding secluded outside patio features seating for 40. Our menu is Contemporary American Cuisine featuring the finest steaks, fresh fish and seafood, homemade pastas and poultry. Dessert features creative pastries as well as outstanding homemade gelato. The entire menu is complimented by tasteful cocktails and an extensive wine list, available both by the bottle and by the glass.
