Review on Regency Central Hotel
Occupying a beautiful Georgian terrace a stone's throw from Scarborough's main attractions (including the Stephen Joseph Theatre), the Regency Central Hotel formerly the Beiderbecke's is a quiet, sophisticated venue with more than a touch of glitz.
On the food front, the kitchen offers a bit of just about everything, from bouillabaisse and four-hour slow-cooked lamb provençale with couscous and potato bake to Peking duck spring rolls, spiced lamb patties with char-grilled flat bread and roast monkfish with preserved lemon dressing.
Steaks and grills are also available and desserts could range from caramelised apple tart to chocolate and orange marquise with Cointreau crème anglaise.
