Review on Smiths of Smithfield, No. 3 Restaurant and Terrace
Guests could easily spend an entire day at Smiths of Smithfield, this four-floored venue located in a Grade II listed building at the epicentre of London's only functioning meat market is home to four dining options.
For a hearty breakfast there is the ground-floor restaurant, and for lunch and pre-dinner drinks there is the first floor cocktail bar and an informal restaurant on the second floor. But it is the top floor restaurant that is the main attraction - a simple, lofty room with glass walls revealing magnificent views of the Square Mile, this fine modern restaurant has a refined but unpretentious City feel. Meat aficionados will certainly be satisfied by the very high quality of the meat dishes available (Smith's being conveniently located for the market!), but vegetarians are not forgotten.
It's not a particularly cheap venue, but you are paying for dishes from reputable sources that are executed competently and with style.
