Review on Terrace Restaurant
The Terrace Restaurant on the Ltttleton side of the National Theatre has fantastic views over the river Thames and is a popular destination for theatre goers and diners looking for an informal buzzy atmosphere. The outside Terrace can get very busy during the Summer months, but there is no nicer place to be to enjoy a cocktail or two with a few nibbles.
Their mezze menu is designed for sharing but they do offer large plates of some dishes which can be served as a main course. Expect choices of pan-fried chicken livers with Amontillado sherry and plum chutney or risotto nero with baby squid or steak frites as a main course. Sweet plates take in Baklava with pistachio ice cream or caramelized pineapple with syrup and coconut ice cream.
