The Bellevue is a hotel-restaurant located on a quiet side street in Spiez, offering international gourmet cuisine with some innovative touches. The restaurant is only a few minutes away from the town's lakefront and has an impressive view of the castle, lake and mountains. The Bellevue has a modern and stylish décor and has been in the same family for three generations.

The kitchen is keen to source ingredients from the local region for its menu and some of the dishes it offers could be Techtel Mechtel vom Hirschfilet, a type of venison fillet, with US scallops on mango and truffle ravioli. Also look for Norwegian Arctic char in a potato wrap, finishing with a dessert of Sabayon von Spiezer Rieslingssilvaner. Homemade delicacies, such as bread, jams and chocolates are made using traditional and innovative methods. There are a choice of menus ranging from three to seven courses, together with an excellent international wine list to complement the dishes. The restaurant also holds special events such as Read & Dine, Country & Dine and Comedy & Dine, giving the place a cultural feel.
