Wong-Kun is a Chinese restaurant in the historic Krone hotel, mentioned as a bakers' guild house in records as early as the 14th century. Situated in the car free town centre, overlooking the Rathausplatz square and fountain, just steps away from the Aare River and Town Hall. The restaurant has a typical Chinese décor with red lanterns, fresh orchids and Chinese wall pictures. The extensive menu covers a lot of familiar ground with oriental dishes from the regions around Canton and Beijing. The wine list brings together some great wines from around the world or you could choose a pot of jasmine tea to go with your meal. Service is very polite and attentive in Thun's oldest-established Chinese restaurant.
