In the Tollen Knole in Nimritz you can expect something completely different and unique. Both locals and visitors to the area have the choice between two rooms, or should we say two Worlds. Either rustic with a great deal of wood and eye catching décor: old-style kitchen, with washboards, flat irons and a horse's head, or you can opt to take a seat on the red upholstered chairs in the more ostentatious area. Cocktails are served at the bar in the generously proportioned room, and there is a well lit display with the wine menu. The kitchen offers Nudelstau (a pile of noodles or pasta), Knastologen (prisoner's rations) or Bratmaxe (brand name meat). Despite the fancy name, the helpful and pleasant team serves down-to-earth basic dishes.
