Review on Cip's Club
Cip's Club is the informal dining option in the legendary Hotel Cipriani on the tranquil island of Giudecca, a four minute cruise from Piazza San Marco by the complimentary private motor launch. The wooden terrace decorated in the style of a private yacht deck has the most breathtaking views of the lagoon and St Mark's Square, whilst the glamorous dining room is decorated with original artworks depicting the panoramic scenery.
The restaurant offers a concise menu of four choices for each course of the excellently executed Venetian fare. Typical starters that could feature are fried soft shelled crabs on creamy white polenta or maybe Carpaccio classico con salsa Cipriani, thinly sliced raw prime beef seasoned with classic Cipriani sauce. Main courses take in sliced calf's liver sautéed with onions, served with fresh creamy polenta or cuttlefish Venetian style with fresh peas. There are tempting desserts to finish or the cheeseboard offering a wide choice of rare fine cheese from selected Italian famers.
