De Pisis is the fine dining restaurant located in the Bauer Hotel, with its distinctive 1940's facade and art déco windows, located in the heart of Venice, a short stroll from St Mark's Square. The restaurant is elegant, decorated in a Venetian style with a marvellous terrace to take in the breathtaking views of the Grand Canal and the Santa Maria della Salute.

Chef Giovanni Ciresa looks to his Italian roots for his inventive Italian menu, with influences from the Mediterranean and Asia. Open your account with scallops carpaccio, melon, sea asparagus and smoked ham, followed by red beetroot ravioli, lobster and liquorice essence. Main courses could take in John Dory tempura, seaweed pesto, caramelized spring onions and crispy rice or veal sweetbread Milanese, smoked potato cream and mushroom friscassèe. While desserts are picture pretty assemblages such as figs millefeuille, balsamic vinegar, milk and Tahiti vanilla ice cream or peach cheesecake, almonds paired with basil ice cream and Muscat wine.
