The Weggiser Stübli is one of the restaurants in the Post Hotel Weggis, known affectionately as POHO Weggis, a cool contemporary hotel in the heart of the village, just by the boat pier on Lake Lucerne. The restaurant has a rustic décor with oak and green upholstery, high wood panelling with delicately engraved coats of arms, timber framework and iron light fittings, all add to the ambience. The Weggiser Stübli with its venerable portrait gallery is home to traditional, down-to-earth Swiss food. Here, you can savour hearty, satisfying fare ranging from Rösti topped with a fried egg to cheese fondue. Lovers of all things sweet and creamy can indulge in the chocolate and stracciatella ice cream with schoggi sauce, puffed rice, toblerone and cream or maybe a baked vanilla ice cream with honey and orange. The wine list features over 500 wines from all the major vineyards across the world.
