Hotel Restaurant Wengener Hof is set in a very tranquil location with gorgeous views of the Lauterbrunnen valley and the mountains beyond. The restaurant is very elegant and the service is wonderfully charming, ensuring many returning visitors. The kitchen serves an excellent 5-course dinner with a choice of three main courses, including a vegetarian option, together with a salad buffet. There is a fine wine list to complement the food including an exceptional selection of Bordeaux wines. On Sunday evenings, there is a Gala evening where a buffet is served. Wengen is a car free oasis, and private traffic is only permitted up to Lauterbrunnen, but the train station is just 5 minutes walk from the hotel.
