Gilmore's Restaurant, located at 133 East Gay Street in historic down-town West Chester, is a dream come true for chef owner Peter Gilmore and his wife, Susan. After 22 noteworthy years at Le Bec-Fin, Peter opened this intimate BYOB serving exceptional French cuisine in 2001 and has received "best of" awards ever since. Gilmore's was most recently included in Zagats World's Top Restaurants 2008/09 with a rating of "Extraordinary to Perfection" in both food and service. In addition, Open Table diners rated Gilmore's "Best Food" and "Best Overall" in the Philadelphia, New Jersey region. Guests on weeknights have the option of choosing from the award winning bistro menu or chef's tasting menu in addition to the regular fare.
