Review on The Hemlock Stone

Following a major refit, this pub/restaurant a few miles west of Nottingham has re-surfaced as a contemporary venue with a restaurant menu showcasing classic pub food. The Hemlock Stone now comprises a big open-plan bar with lots of polished wood, plus a dining room decorated in deep rich tones with comfortable banquettes and modern-classic furnishings. When the weather is warm you can dine al fresco in the lovely garden.

IT WAS OUR FIRST VISIT ON RECOMMENDATION. THE FOOD WAS VERY TASTY , AND SERVED QUITE QUICKLY , THE WAITER ANDY , WAS A SUPER YOUNG MAN VERY HELPFUL AND POLITE., WE WILL VISIT AGAIN , AS ITS NOT FAR FROM HOME , AND THE AMBIENCE WAS LOVELY REGARDS PAT JOHNSON
