Review on Brasserie Schiller & Goethe Bar
You will find the Brasserie Schiller & Goethe Bar in the centre of Zurich in the historic building where the NZZ newspaper is printed and between the Stadelhofen railway station and the opera house. The Brasserie which opened in October 2008 has a dignified atmosphere with clean lines and high quality furnishings, and bears the signature of the international renowned interior designer, Sue Freeman from London.
The kitchen serves modern French haute cuisine using impeccable market-fresh ingredients. Look for lobster bisque with cognac amongst the starters, followed by a main course of foie gras, fillet of beef and finishing with a traditional mousse au chocolat for dessert.
The modern designed Goethe Bar is open for a comprehensive breakfast menu, to a light snack or glass of wine, and after 4 o'clock you can indulge in their popular brunch.
