Review on Carlton Restaurants & Bar
The Carlton is a modern gourmet restaurant situated on the world-famous Bahnhofstrasse. The Art Déco restaurant has been designed by the famous designer Günther Thöny from Lichtenstein in tones of bronze, gold and aubergine, creating a warm and intimate atmosphere.
Nicholas Tsiknakos mans the stoves, a past winner of the prestigious Bocuse d'Or, as well as chef of the year in his home country of Greece, he has created a modern menu with Mediterranean influences. The wine cellar has received a number of awards and has more than 990 classic and rare wines from the local area, as well as all the major winemaking vineyards throughout the world.
This Art Deco restaurant also has a cocktail bar and a garden terrace, which like the restaurant are modern in style and decorated to a high standard. The restaurant has an exclusive feel enhanced by regular events, including English afternoon tea, Monday Bouteille (bring a bottle), an after-work event with live DJ and Ciné & Dîner.
