L'Escalier - Guernsey

Hidden away in a quiet backwater of St Peter Port, but only a couple of minutes' walk from the bustle of the town centre, L'Escalier is a discreet, personally run venue, complete with a terrace for fine-weather meals. Everything, from bread and pasta to ice cream, is made on the premises and the kitchen turns out an affordable version of classic and modern Anglo-French cooking. Sunday lunch brings regular full houses.
