The Refuel Bar & Restaurant is situated on the ground floor of the Soho Hotel in Richmond Mews, a quiet street close to London's Theatreland. One of a group of small luxury destinations dotted across the capital, the Soho Hotel is a highly useful and discreet destination for visitors to the neighbourhood. Refuel features a long pewter bar and specially commissioned murals illustrating the hotel's former incarnation as a multi-storey car park.
In the kitchen, the emphasis is on seasonal and organic produce and the full menu rings the changes each month. Typical starters might include pancetta wrapped scallops, Jerusalem artichoke puree or beetroot and vodka cured salmon, with horseradish crème fraîche, while main courses could range from roasted venison loin, braised red cabbage, venison sausage to seared tuna, sautéed bok choi, with ginger soy balsamic dressing. To finish, consider white chocolate cheesecake, orange compote or the Refuel Sundae, vanilla ice cream, dates, almond praline ice cream, cherries,chocolate shavings and cream.
If you fancy snacking with your drinks, a selection of tapas-style comfort food and mixed platters is available in the bar throughout the day. A bolthole for media types.
