Famed for its superb location by the banks of the River Test, the Greyhound at Stockbridge is the very model of an affluent Hampshire hostelry. It still clings to its roots as an old-world country pub with an inglenook while the lounge has been given a makeover, the riverside garden looks a dream (whatever the season) and the Greyhound now has eight en-suite letting rooms.
