Review of The Normandy Arms, Blackawton

Tucked away in the south Devon countryside within easy reach of Totnes and Dartmouth, this centuries-old village pub was re-named in honour of the World World II exercises that took place on nearby Slapton beach prior to the Normandy landings.

Friendly new owners Peter Alcroft and Sharon Murdoch have given the place a facelift and are rapidly gaining a reputation for skilfully prepared food. Their 'interesting and varied menu' has already grabbed the attention of Mobile Food Guide users.
