The house stands high up on a wooded hillside overlooking the water, surrounded by delightful grounds and exquisite gardens laid out by Ard na Sidhe's green-fingered original owner, Lady Edith Gordon.

Meals are served in the intimate surroundings of the Fairyhill restaurant, where dinner is based around Irish ingredients given international treatment. Post-prandial drinks and coffee are served by the peat fire in the cosy drawing room.
