The La Cuisine restaurant, in the heart of the government district of Paris is just minutes away from the Eiffel Tower. This chic eatery was opened in 2001 by Christine Duboscq and Jean-Vincent Selles and is simply and elegantly decorated with pale lemon walls, beige carpet, blue upholstery with blue and white tableware. The restaurant has proved a popular destination for the local government officials along with families and couples who come to enjoy the classic French cuisine in the very friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
The innovative menu follows the seasons relying only on fresh produce available at local markets. Among the starters look for hot goats cheese with black olive, basil and green salad or duck foie gras terrine, figs and prune with cardamom. Moving on there could be duckling fillet roasted with peaches, baked potato and French beans or lamb chops sautéed with rosemary, and mixed vegetables. Finish with one of the delectable homemade desserts or the selection of cheeses. La Cuisine has a delightful terrace for al fresco dining when the weather is warm.
