Gosenschenke 'Ohne Bedenken' - Leipzig

Gosenschenke 'Ohne Bedenken' in Leipzig is, according to the German magazine Biercult, one of Germany's finest beer gardens. In Leipzig it has been known as the Gosenschänke for over one hundred years ('Gose' is a locally brewed, well-fermented beer). The restaurant was unused during the troubled years of the former East Germany but has since been lovingly restored. You can now drink 'Gose' here, of course, as well as cocktails and traditional German cuisine which has strong associations with Leipzig. You can listen to live piano music every Saturday. They also hold regular concerts and other events in this historic setting.
