Bubbledogs is a unique venture serving gourmet hot dogs and champagne situated on Charlotte Street, which was named in honour of Queen Charlotte, who was married to King George III in 1761. The restaurant has a simple rustic décor using reclaimed woods, with exposed brick walls adorned with fun pictures of dogs in various guises, reflecting the emblem of Bubbledogs. There are custom made benches and high bar stools with the more formal restaurant, the Kitchen's Table situated towards the rear.

The establishment is run by husband and wife team chef James Knappett and sommelier Sandia Chang, who between them bring a wealth of experience to the enterprise. James honed his culinary skills at several stellar kitchens including Gordon Ramsay's Royal Hospital Road, Pétrus with Marcus Waring, Per Se in New York, where he met his wife and more recently The Ledbury. Sandia's made her name at equally impressive restaurants including Noma, Marcus Wareing and Simon Rogan's pop-up Roganic.

The kitchen cooks up a selection of gourmet burgers to suit all comers, from José made with fresh tomato salsa, avocado, sour cream and pickled jalapeños, to the BLT with crispy bacon, caramelized lettuce and truffle mayo, or the Philly Cheez with sautéed onions, mushroom, peppers with a layer of cheese sauce. When it comes to the Bubbles, Sandia has created an excellent list of grower champagnes and sparkling wines, sourced from small independent suppliers to complement the hot dogs and there is also a small selection of cocktails on offer.
