AM Kitchen and Bar, an Indian Halal restaurant is one of the dining options available at the modern Marriott Leeds Hotel. Sited on Briggate Street adjacent to the hotel it is located in the historic Dyson Clockwork Building, just a short walk from Leeds Rail Station. The interiors blend period features with contemporary design, creating an opulent décor decked out in silver and black, with stunning chandeliers from Dubai hanging from the ceiling.
The restaurant is considered one of the premier Indian restaurants in the city, with the award winning team of chefs showcasing modern and classic dishes from the sub-continent, using fresh locally sourced ingredients, as well as importing exotic spices from all corners of the globe. Tender, succulent lamb chops marinated in a secret recipe and char-grilled over hot embers is a popular starter, followed by a main course of king prawn sizzler served on a bed of sizzling onions and capsicum, accompanied by AM special sauce and Pilau rice or chips. When it comes to desserts there's sticky toffee with butterscotch sauce or trufito chocolate, dairy chocolate ice cream bombé containing chocolate sauce and enrobed in chocolate with almond pieces.
