Lila Portals Restaurant occupies a prime cliff-top position overlooking the beach and the smart Portals Nous yacht marina, with stunning views across the bay. Takings its name from the Spanish word meaning lilac, the interiors of the restaurant emphasise this colour with smart modern furnishings. The best seats in the house are on their terrace in order to take in the beautiful visas while dining al fresco.
Mediterranean cuisine is prepared in the open kitchen by German chef Jens Bräuning, who previously worked at five star hotels such as the Dorint Royal Golf Resort & Spa and Castillo Hotel Son Vida. Open your account with Majorcan "coca" with smoked eel, sauerkraut, cider jelly and caraway sour cream before a main course of braised ox cheeks with fresh goat cheese potato ravioli and glazed spring onions. To finish there's fried milk with apricot vinaigrette and orange-mint sorbet.
