Port de Pollenca, the most northerly town in Mallorca was, before Mallorca's tourist boom, both popular with artists and a quiet retreat for the rich and famous. Today, many of the hotels still ooze that old world charm.
No visit is complete without strolling along Pine Walk, it got its name due to all the wonderful pine trees that shade the beach along its whole length, or seeing the Central Square, Plaça Capllonch, lined with its bars and restaurants and scene of the Port de Pollenca Wednesday market.
