It requires nerves of steel to drive to Es Verger restaurant near Alaró, but it is a famous and well trodden, hairpin narrow path to this rustic outpost of Mallorcan cuisine, usually referred to by the Brits as, The Lamb Restaurant.

There are no frills and fancy tablecloths here, simply sit back with a bottle of house wine and wait for what many describe as the best shoulder of lamb in the world!
