Review on Restaurant Coworth Park
Restaurant Coworth Park is the Michelin-starred fine dining restaurant in the beautiful Georgian manor house set in 240 acres of grounds, with its own polo fields and equestrian centre. This multi-million pound venture near Ascot is the latest addition to the luxurious Dorchester Collection, sister to The Dorchester in London. The elegant restaurant is located in the Mansion House consisting of three inter-connecting rooms, the larger of which has floor to ceiling windows overlooking the garden.
The kitchen's inventive cuisine offers a modern interpretation of classic dishes with a commitment to quality ingredients. From the a la carte menu you could choose grouse with pumpkin, blackberry and coffee or oyster scallop, lemongrass and cucumber. Main courses usher in creative dishes such as monkfish, red wine risotto, oxtail and radicchio or partridge, black pudding, quince and redcurrant. As a finale indulge in dark chocolate praline and kalamansi or apple, caramel and chestnut. To complement the dishes there's an outstanding wine list that roams the globe.
For informal dining there's The Barn restaurant with glass doors opening onto a courtyard for al fresco dining, with fabulous views of the surrounding countryside.
