Review on Pennyhill Park Hotel, The Brasserie
The stylish and vibrant Brasserie at Pennyhill Park Hotel and Spa has enjoyed an extensive refurbishment to become one of the most enjoyable destinations in Surrey, offering guests an exciting new interactive dining experience. High stools and tables are set along mobile cooking stations where guests can choose their own ingredients. The Brasserie has something to suit everyone, with the menu reflecting the full support of local producers and keeping in tune with the seasons.
Roman Zalaba leads the kitchen with a menu that kicks off with mackerel and caviar, cucumber and Miso yoghurt or chicken and mushroom terrine, duck liver, date, pistachio and celery. Inventive main courses follow in the shape of Cornish lobster, broad been salad, Choron sauce and French fries or from the Inka grill there's succulent steaks served with double cooked thick cut chips, cherry vine tomato, onion, watercress and your choice of sauce. As for desserts check out the coconut panna cotta, sesame seed cake, pineapple, mango and passion fruit ice cream or the red wine and berries, pistachio, and almond crumble.
