Review on The Restaurant - Fitzwilliam Hotel Belfast
The Fitzwilliam Hotel Group has spread its wings with the opening of a ultra-modern luxury venue next to the Grand Opera House in the heart of Belfast, and it promises to add a stylish new dimension to the city. At the heart of the hotel is it's elegant restaurant, decked out in contemporary style with fashionable furniture and intimate booths.
Taking helm of the kitchen is Executive Chef Dean Butler, who produces a modern European menu with a focus on fresh seasonal produce. Kick start proceedings with pan fried monkfish cheeks, black truffel and parmesan arancini before a main course of rump of lamb, minted lamb shank ravioli, sauté broad bean and rainbow carrot. To finish on a sweet note there's pineapple upside down cake, pineapple granita and crème Anglaise or a lemon meringue roulade, lemon curd and lime chard.
