The Dining Room restaurant at Belgravia's The Goring with its interior designed by David Lindley is acclaimed as one of the best in London. A warm welcome and dignified atmosphere, excellent service and outstanding facilities await you here because for four generations the Goring family have harmonised traditional standards of hotel keeping with progressive management and they are proud to operate one of the very best privately owned luxury hotels in London.
The restaurant's traditional style and convenient location make it a perfect venue for that special luncheon or dinner. At luncheon the light streams though the large windows, creating a perfect oasis in the centre of town. For the evenings, the lights are lowered and the atmosphere becomes more intimate as the pianist plays gently at the entrance to the room.
Classic dishes fill the extensive menu including dressed Cornish crab, glazed lobster omelette or deep fried whitebait with tartare sauce followed by main courses, 8 different fish dishes including the famous Goring Fishcake with spinach with a puree of fresh tomatoes and herb dressing. Noisettes of English lamb or cold roast sirloin of beef for the meat eaters while vegetarians are well looked after. There is a good selection of well chosen wines by the glass from the list. The restaurant was awarded a prestigious Michelin star in the 2016 edition of the Guide.
