Review on Adam's Restaurant
There's a new gun in town, ex-Michelin-starred Glenapp Castle Head Chef Adam Stokes opened his eponymously named fine dining restaurant in the heart of Birmingham, with his wife Natasha in 2013. After two years located in a former sandwich shop, the restaurant moved to it's new larger premises at New Oxford House, Waterloo Street. The Michelin-starred restaurant is a sleek affair with a contemporary dιcor decked out in a palette of neutral colours.
Adam has a strong allegiance to trusted suppliers to ensure first-class quality in the ingredients for his two tasting menus featuring a choice of five or nine courses, with the optional accompanying wine flight. The menu offers inspirational seasonal dishes in align with the spirit of the restaurant, witness pigs trotter, bacon jam smoked eel, or lamb, purple sprouting broccoli, wild garlic, gentleman's relish and desserts such as milk chocolate, espelette pepper, coffee and goats curd, cherries, sorrel.
There's an excellent lunch menu on offer and the service team led by Natasha is exemplary, both friendly and precise.
