To celebrate the millennium, the hidden courtyard at the heart of the historic British Museum was transformed into the Great Court, a two-acre public square enclosed by a spectacular glass roof.

The Court café on the ground floor offers a wide selection of sandwiches, snacks and soups, all made on the premises. Upstairs is the stunning Court Restaurant, an exciting place to visit whether you are taking in the Museum or not.
