Cases de Son Barbassa is a couple of kilometres from the seven hundred year old town of Capdepera, surrounded by the national park of De Llevant it is a country estate, carefully and lovingly renovated to become a small boutique hotel and restaurant. Fresh seasonal produce is name of the game much of which is grown on the estate. Dine in the restaurant with its conservatory and far reaching views or outside on the terrace surrounded by wild roses.
Get under way with gazpacho, Mediterranean salad or veal Carpaccio with parmesan before perhaps veal tenderloin with grilled vegetables, chicken curry with rice, Dorado from the grill or angler fish with a mushroom sauce. Plus, Thursday night is barbecue night!
In addition to Champagnes and Cavas the wine list sports a good choice from Spain and Mallorca.
